The baddest b!tch on television had a soft side.
For the last year I have been trying, to almost no avail, to convince the planet that Jessica was not THAT evil, that she was truly a hero who was just very expedient.
Last night she earned her hero stripes.
The banker......errrrr......Linderman offered her practically all the money she stole. She wanted it, but realized it wasn't what her sister wanted. And by switching Niki back, she showed that all that she had done all season was not for Jessica, but for her sister.
DL earned his stripes too, by taking the bullet meant for our dynamic duo in one. Then, before collapsing, phased a fist into Lindy, qualifiying Mr. McDowell for unemployment benefits.
And yes, that pic is from next week. Seems DL survived his wounds, and now has not only Micah, but Molly in tow (let the shipping begin!)
We also found out that the second baddest b!itch on TV, Candace Wilmer had some serious body image issues that have more or less soured her on the human race. Judging by some of the more sophmoric post in 9th Wonders, I can imagine why she feels that way. Good drama has a way of revealing ourselves, and sometimes not in the way we imagine. We also found that Candace was as evil as we thought and that she and Micah have become sorta buddies. (and besides, assuming that the opponent may have been Republican, what goes around comes around, eh?)
Oh, and don't forget Linderman. He showed he was not that evil too when he healed Heidi, Nathan's wife. Nice thing to do on your way out.
This, and other things, set us up for the Big Finish next week. After all this buildup, it had better be good!
