There's no stopping the cheerleader.
Last night's Fast Ratings show that NBC's Heroes is a bona fide hit, something newtorks all dream about when they pull out thier new schedules.
And it seems that the ballsy move of running Heroes at the same time as FOX's juggernaught 24 is having an impact on old Mr. Bauer.
In the 9-10 PM (ET) hour, was in first with its comedy block, followed Heroes in 2nd with a 8.2 rating and a 12 share, closely follwed by 24's 7.9/12. ABC's Supernanny held at 4th, The CW's Black comedies, Girlfriends and The Game at 5th, and MyNetworkTV's novella Watch Over Me pretty much unwatched.
The interesting part is that, while Two and a Half Men on CBS did get first place with a mighty 10.5/15 from 9-9:30, David Spade's Rules of Engagement slipped to an 8.9/13, almost allowing Heroes to take first place at that time.
According to www.zap2it.com, ratings information is taken from fast national data, which includes live and same-day DVR viewing. All numbers are preliminary and subject to change.
