MASSIVE FINAL PRE-SHOW SPOILER ALERT!

Ok....these have been sent to me by a reliable source.....

* In perhaps another nod to Watchmen, somebody gets killed in 2.1 and the first half of season two is a murder mystery. (Hiro's dad and Claire's grandma seem to believe they are targets as well. I'm guessing the worse-than-Sylar boogieman little Molly referenced last season is the culprit.)

* Peter stars the season locked away, and with amnesia.

* Nathan, believing Peter dead, has descended into alcoholism and starts the season with a giant beard. (I had this one pegged, from the beard Pasdar was sporting at events, and his seeming inability not spill the beans!)

* In sunnier Costa Verde, Calif. (which doubtlessly neighbors Neptune and Sunnydale), Claire comes to date another superhero (played by Nick D'Agosto, who also played Jana's assistant on The Office). (This one is old news, and its a character that, I beleive, was created to cool down all that Paire shipping going on the 'net)

* Papa Noah Bennet is going after his old bosses. (Possibly with the help of Sylar??) (Not a good idea.....)

* Mohinder, Matt and Molly the little mutant-finder are all living together. (With Matt's pregnant wife?) (She hasn;t had that kid already?? Dear God, the gestation period on freakin' Days of Our Lives is shorter...that's usually two years!)

* Jessica/Niki gets a virus that only affects superheroes, presumably the one that killed Mohinder's sister and vexes Molly. (This scares me for many reasons. Ali Larter said that she was going to be off air for awhile to "fix things." The first two things that come in to my mind: marriage and contract negotiations. I just hope they don't kill the kid off. It's enough Jessica's off my TV for most of the year, but Niki too??)

*Molly's worse-than-Sylar boogieman is identified in 2.5.

* Hiro, who gets busy with a princess, may not return to the present until 2.8. (lucky stiff! Ya....tahhhh!)

* Many questions about the season-one cliffhanger will be answered in 2.8, titled Four Months Ago. (hopefully like what ever happend to our favorite illusionist Candace, now that she seems to have morphed into a record store empoyee named Andi on the CW's Reaper.)

* Sylar leaves the series around 2.16 to play Spock in the movies but is expected to return at season's end.

* We'll discover that several mutants share the same superpowers. (which is what I expected to happen, anyway)

* Stephen Tobolowski (Ned from Groundhog Day) is introduced as a Primatech boss. (Praise the Lord! What a casting coup! Tobolowski is a Tony-winning actor with a penchant for portyaing Everymen in unique situations. Mostly humorous, he can turn that effect to pure evil if need be. If he IS the new boogeyman, he's a great choice!)

* The characters introduced in next April's spinoff , Heroes: Origins, could join the mother show or be spun off into their own series. For those who overlooked Harry's post on Saturday (or Kring's announcement on G4's Attack of the Show earlier in the week), big-screen writer-directors John August (The Nines), Michael Dougherty (Trick or Treat), Kevin Smith (Clerks, Silent Bob..) and Eli Roth (Hostel) will be among those creating Origins episodes.Nikki getting a virus?

Season 2 of HEROES begins tonight on NBC @ 9/8C.
