Will 12.03.07 be THE Last Episode???

Al Norton TV Editor

I am keeping my fingers crossed that some last minute weekend negotiations means that today is not the first day of the writer's strike, but the potential effects are already being felt throughout the industry, especially over at NBC's Heroes.

Not only was the spin-off series, Heroes: Origins, where big names like Kevin Smith and Eli Roth were set to write and direct episodes, shelved but now they are planning on shooting two episodes for the Dec 3. air date, one the regularly scheduled version and a second that wraps up all the fall storylines in case the strike looks like it could continue on indefinitely.

Hopefully my weekend of prayer and sacrifice to the TV gods will render this news moot, but as of this writing, things don't look good.
